We are constantly told that we are moving forward—that new systems, shifting power, and promises of progress are leading us toward a better future. But what happens when the future being sold to us is actually forcing us backward?

The lyrics are intentionally simple. Repetitive. Confrontational.

Inspired by the mythology surrounding the mysterious Grinning Man and the unsettling world of the Mothman, Indrid Coald exists as a symbolic messenger standing at the edge of a rapidly changing world. He doesn’t predict the future. He points toward the warning signs already hiding in plain sight.
