Grand Canyon (Retouched)

Bear the Astronot lived right inside the Grand Canyon National Park, and on the Navajo Reservation where his grandmother lived for the first 18 years of his life. Grand Canyon (retouched) is the remixed and remastered version of a two part musical project Bear the Astronot released in 2015. 13 songs were chosen to be remixed, remastered, and re-released in 2020 to complete the project. The remaining songs were re-released as singles or were moved to Grand Canyon Chapter 2 which you can listen to and purchase exclusively here at BeartheAstronot.com. In 2015 Bear the Astronot settled on a crazy idea. 2 Months to create a massive project. Bear grew up in The Grand Canyon National Park and on the Navajo Reservation in Northern Arizona. He had always wanted to create a musical project dedicated to his unique childhood. He set out to create this project quickly. He wildly wrote and produced an eclectic dedication to his childhood and the Southwest. After 2 months he had 2 Chapters to the project he titled Grand Canyon. 35 Songs & Spoken Word pieces completely written, produced, recorded, mixed, and released. In 2 months time!! This may have not been time to sonically perfect every song, but the imperfect feel was the vibe for Bear the Astronot’s vision. Lots of these songs contain 1 take verses and hooks, and many were created from start to finish in chunks of songs all in the same day.
