OSO MELODIC

Tucson instrumental hip-hop and soulful samples

Oso Melodic is a Tucson music project built around instrumental hip-hop, soulful samples, dusty drums and warm electronic textures.

Chopped records, hardware samplers, analog synthesizers and vintage keyboards give the sound a tactile character. The arrangements favor groove, repetition and small changes that reward close listening. Downtempo space, trip-hop atmosphere, jazz phrasing and house movement can all enter the mix without displacing its beat-making roots.

Released through 1st Drop Music, Oso Melodic offers a patient, instrumental corner of the catalog. Listen through the releases below and explore the official website for more music, playlists and artist updates.
