SMS privacy notice

This notice covers the 1st Drop Music text-message program operated by Free the Line LLC. It describes SMS information, rather than all activity on participating websites.

Information used for text updates

When the program opens, we will use your phone number, selected interests, consent wording and version, request and confirmation times, verification status, and delivery and opt-out records to operate text updates. These records help us document your choices, prevent abuse and respect unsubscribe requests. Email information is handled separately when you also choose email updates.

Use and protection of your information

Our messaging and hosting service providers process the information needed to operate the program on our behalf. We do not sell mobile information or disclose it to other organizations for their own advertising or marketing.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.

Your choices and records

Once the program is active, reply STOP to stop marketing texts. We retain consent and opt-out records as needed to document your choices and prevent unwanted messages. Opting out stops marketing texts but does not necessarily erase those records.
