Leaf Dive is an album from Bear the Astronot. His goal has always been to write music that does not fit into any one category. Leaf Dive has elements of Hip-Hop, Alternative, Folk, Pop, Country, Americana and Singer-songwriter music. Bear has truly taken a "dive" into writing music. The first song on the album is called "Leaf Dive." It is a fun, folksy Americana song about death. Yes, death! A fun, folksy Hip-Hop beat with lyrics about death. What an introduction to the rest of the album. If you are familiar with Bear's Hip-Hop flow or previous albums, you may find yourself disappointed.
However, if you enjoy listening to something different and innovative with real love songs and meaningful lyrics - you should definitely listen to Leaf Dive.
