Bear the Astronot

Alternative hip-hop with an Arizona horizon

Bear the Astronot makes alternative hip-hop and cinematic electronic music shaped by Arizona’s mountain pines, canyon country, high desert, sagebrush and saguaros.

Dusty drums, spacious production and human stories anchor the project. The astronaut imagery offers a perspective on life at a distance, while the writing keeps its attention on people, memory and experience. Hip-hop provides the foundation; ambient textures, bass and electronic production expand the space around the voice.

The DUST project is a central entry into this musical world. Explore the current catalog below, or visit the official Bear the Astronot website for the wider collection of releases, videos and stories.
