"Bearcat (Lyric Video)" - Bear the Astronot
"Bearcat" — Bear the Astronot & Turntable Kachina
Official Audio/Visualizer Released by 1st Drop Music "Bearcat" is an underground hip-hop song connecting Bear Cole’s Bear the Astronot and Turntable Kachina personas on the album ARIZONA, released on September 1, 2026. The track uses dark piano melodies, cinematic strings, dusty textures and hypnotic rhythmic drums to create a sense of introspection and satire — two elements that fans of Bear the Astronot have been able to connect with throughout his career. It combines elements of underground Arizona Hip-Hop with atmospheric production and emotional storytelling to provide a late night soundtrack full of tension, nostalgia and cinematic depth. Turntable Kachina’s production style hovers between boom-bap influences, ambient textures and experimental sound designs. Bear the Astronot provides introspective and cutting-edge lyrics that stem from independent hip-hop culture. Both personas are providing new sonic landscapes to ARIZONA — a project influenced by desert landscapes, isolation, movement and creative expression in the Southwest. The title "Bearcat" refers to the mysterious Binturong, a largely nocturnal animal that has a darker coat. Like the Binturong itself, the song cannot be easily defined — atmospheric, shadowy, unpredictable and completely genuine. People who enjoy underground hip-hop, cinematic boom-bap, mood-driven production and independent Arizona music should feel very comfortable in the world of "Bearcat." ⸻ Artist: Bear the Astronot Artist: Turntable Kachina Label: 1st Drop Music Visit 1st Drop Music online at 🌐 https://1stdropmusic.com Follow Bear the Astronot online at 🌐 https://beartheastronot.com Follow Turntable Kachina online at 🌐 https://turntablekachina.com
