The 1st Drop Music family is excited to announce the addition of Sagebrush & The Little Flowers, Bear Cole’s country, folk, soul, and bluegrass identity, rooted in the beautiful forests of Northern Arizona. With their enchanting combination of country, folk, and bluegrass, this musical project will surely capture the hearts of listeners with their authentic, emotionally charged, and spiritually connected musical storytelling.
A sound that is both traditional and connected to nature
Sagebrush & The Little Flowers bring a truly unique sense of tradition and connection to nature to their music. Inspired by artists such as Willie Nelson, Kacey Musgraves, The SteelDrivers, Mumford & Sons, and Ben Harper; they combine poignant lyrics with hypnotic rhythms and melodies. Acoustic guitars, banjos, and mandolins fill their songs reflecting their strong connection to nature and a simpler way of living.
Why Sagebrush & The Little Flowers are a perfect match for 1st Drop Music
1st Drop Music has always been committed to promoting the voices of independent artists who display creativity, versatility, and independence. Sagebrush & The Little Flowers embody these qualities as they take full responsibility for writing their own songs, performing them, recording and producing their own music. Their ability to produce professionally recorded music on their own fits perfectly with 1st Drop Music's commitment to supporting and developing independent musicians.
Collaborations and shared vision
Although they are officially joining the 1st Drop Music roster, Sagebrush & The Little Flowers are not new to the label. The project connects with the country and folk-based work released under his Bear Cole and Bear the Astronot identities. In doing so, the project has seamlessly integrated its distinctive sound into the fabric of the 1st Drop community. The formal addition of Sagebrush & The Little Flowers represents an exciting next step in continuing collaborative efforts and expanding musical horizons.
Music that celebrates life and connection
At the core of the music created by Sagebrush & The Little Flowers is a deep celebration of life, nature and authentic human interaction. Their music creates an introspective and emotionally-charged atmosphere similar to the country-hippy movement and American tradition of days past.
However, today's audiences can experience a refreshed version of these timeless themes.
