Turntable Kachina

Bear Gallagher-Cole has always made extra money on the side producing and making beats. Usually for Hip-Hop artists. However, he started working on music soundscapes for Movies and Games as well. That is basically how Turntable Kachina was born. 

Many artists release music as an album, all about them. Turntable Kachina’s music is more about losing yourself to a soundscape. You can hear how many of these songs were developed for use in film and video games. 

Turntable Kachina’s music has heavy influences from World Music, Downtempo, and Electronic Dance. His first project was an attempt to mix Native American music and the ambience of the rez with Hip-Hop, Downtempo. That is how the name was created, and it just kind of stuck.
